Our skin is one of the biggest organ a human body has and yet we tend to take it for granted & not take good care of it! We take so many precautions when it comes to our heart or pretty much any other internal organs but we really don't think enough about our skin!
I have been thinking a lot about this issue lately, specially after having a little incident involving my makeup looks which I normally share on my Instagram, Facebook page plus here on my Blog.
I love creating dramatic looks, simple looks, editorial looks, bridal looks etc. I have seen my images being shared around many accounts in the past, some do give the proper credits by providing my info or link in the caption & some don't! But this time it was something else...

So I came across this random page on Facebook which only sells "non branded makeup products"- (according to the seller) But this time they were Using My Images, My Work to push their counterfeit items!!!
I mean how in the world could someone steal someone else's work and mention things like "for this reddish smokey look get our non branded eyeshadow palette" or "for this nude lip color get that non branded lipsticks" etc. just to make some money off of it!! (so shady SMH ugh). The fact this person was making a profit using my work is absolutely unacceptable but more so the issue which really has been bother me is the fact that this person has been selling counterfeit products & expired products as well all in the name of "inexpensive goods"..!!!

Which brings me to my main point- There are numerous sellers who are selling the same cheaper counterfeit items & it's simply because of the lack of knowledge the average consumer has about these products! For example- if you don't know much about the harmful ingredients a lot of these cheaper eyeshadow palettes have then your only concern about them will be- 'Is it pigmented enough' & will it look pretty?
But imagine rubbing rat poop on your face or even human urine!!! Yep you read it right- this isn't something new & the fact of the matter is many bigger articles have already shared these information already! However it boggles my mind to see how many people are still completely unaware of this..

This is another huge issue. The product could be real but since there's a large quantity of them and the expiration date is near companies will usually sell the stock in a much cheaper price! Which is what a lot of these unreliable online sellers takes advantages of. If there's a need for it then there will be a market for it., Pretty simple, so please educate yourself on it and educate other as well..
The moral of the story is- just to save a few bucks do not expose yourself to the possibility of some serious damage!!! Spend your money plus time wisely & Stop giving more businesses to these counterfeit cosmetics sellers.
