YSL VINYL CREAM LIP STAIN Review+Swatches | #isitWorthit | How to- FAKE Fuller Looking Lips | GLAM THEORY MAG

#YSLbeauty Vinyl Cream Lip Stain- Is It Worth It you ask??? Well lets find out  ;)
Plus I'll be sharing my tips & tricks on HOW TO Fake a Fuller Looking Lips-

YSL has come out with a new addition to their Vinyl Lip Stain family for their fall 2016 launch , & it's Vinyl CREAM Lip Stain! This new Cream formula is meant to be opaque, vs. the original vinyl lip stains which has a sheer formula.

There are a total of 12 shades for this collection. It retails for $36 and you get 0.20 oz.

I had to take some pictures to talk about the applicator wand alone, because I really like it haha. The pointy Diamond shape really helps when applying the lip cream near the corners of the mouth. Plus it helps to keep a crisp outline around the lips without using any lip liner.

Aside from having a pointy tip this wand is pretty thin, flexible & flat. I really like these features for one HUGE reason! I don't have fuller shaped lips naturally. I always wished if my lips were a little bit bigger..but since I don't - 'fake it till you make it' - why not right? hahaha

I can easily use this angled applicator to "fake" a slightly fuller lips. And specially since it leaves a stain for a longer lasting effect, I find its easier to get away with "faking" that fuller lips look.
The best way to achieve that look is to use one darker shade and a matching lighter shade in the same color family. For example I like to use the shade 407 near the outer area of my lips first & I bring it slightly above my natural lip line. (Mainly focusing the center portions of the mouth to over line. If you over line your lips focusing the corners of the mouth too it can look a bit funny & unnatural)

But I just don't keep that shade as an outline only. I like to smudge the outline on both my top & bottom lips with my fingers. Then I go over with the shade 412 and apply it all over my lips to blend everything nicely. Now this will give you more of a wet glossy neutral shade. You can easily achieve the same look with the other bolder shades as well. I am in absolute LOVE with the shade 409. Its just that perfect BOLD statement color & it's perfect for fall (or just all year round if you ask me haha)

Here are the swatches of the shades I have- (L to R)
404 Nude Pulse: soft nude pink
401 Rouge Vinyl: deep, true red
402 Rouge Remix: bright cherry red
409 Burgundy Vibes: deep Bordeaux- (I LOVE this one)
412 Rose Mix: warm coral pink, leans red
407 Carmin Session: muted mauve -(also my favorite)*

Note: I'm a medium/tan shade in complexion. Plus my lips are naturally more pigmented then others (god knows why lol)
Here's how they look on me. I took these pictures indoors in natural sunlight without flash

Now let's talk about the actually formula-
I find them to be pretty long lasting on me, which is actually shocking since I eat my lipsticks like Ariana Grande licks sugar off of donuts lmao Jk
Okay all jokes aside I really do LOVE the formula just as much I Love the applicator wand of these Vinyl lip creams. They last on me lips for roughly around 4-5 hours. And when it comes to touching up I can barely tell where do I need to touch up again because of the beautiful Stain it leaves behind on the lips. They only thing noticeable is the glossy look.

This is definitely one of the most long-lasting, high-shine liquid lipsticks. One Tip i would add is- Apply your first layer of the Vinyl lip cream first and let that set for a few, Then go over with a second layer right on top & Ohhh..just watch your lips LOOK GORGEOUS & luscious.

So if you ask me IS IT WORTH IT- I'll say YES  :)
