Estee Lauder is known for the gold packaging, sometimes combined with the dark blue and that’s what they did here as well. The gold had to make move for a sleek glossy blue lacquered lipstick case with gold as a detail. It’s simple but still elegant and so much more modern. The closing is magnetic. They are completely new and a much needed modern version of the Estee Lauder lipstick. Estee Lauder is a brand that has proven itself for years but always appealed more to the ‘older’ crowd. We see it as a more classic brand and it needed a breath of fresh air. They have been slowly introducing newer technology into their cosmetic line like the gelee formula which is a huge success. Now it was time for a new lipstick, new formula but still with a classic touch!


The lipsticks wear really well and they stain the lips. Nothing but love for these new lipsticks! The new packaging, the scent, the texture, the pigment and the formula. They feel like a classic lipstick, it’s not the most lightweight but it feels nice.
