When I found out Bare-Minerals was launching a liquid foundation a few months ago and I eagerly awaited the day for it to launch, never in a million years I thought I would actually get an opportunity to test out the entire BareSkin collection! (Courtesy of Bareescentuals). ahhhh I know right? lol

My very first impression of this product was: Its very very runny! However the coverage was fantastic. Fuller than I thought it would be. This is a fluid foundation but it has more of a serum, watery texture versus a gel. You know how some serums can have a gel-like feel on the skin? This doesn't feel like that. It feels a little bit heavier, and just ever so slightly more on the moisturizing side. It didn't leave me shiny, nor did it feel greasy, it just felt hydrating. Coverage is supposed to be build-able so two drops for sheer, four for medium, and six for full coverage.
I really love the way it looks on my skin. I was expecting a sheer finish, but was pleased that it left my skin flawless but without a cake-y finish. In general, I really enjoyed it! I tend to have combination skin, so this formula works for me but for 5 hours only. So this will not work for someone that's looking for a long wear foundation. Although it can be worn for more then 5 hours a day by combining a good long wear primer and setting powder.

But one thing for sure- you need to "SHAKE WELL" when using this foundation otherwise the formula comes out of the bottle in a strange way because the pigments separates from the fluid.

Here's some of the swatches of these foundations along with a color guide:
Note- I have found these foundations shades to run more on the darker side. So I would suggest you get a shade lighter then your normal foundation color.

Follow the guide above when choosing your shades. Try to get color matched at any sephora counter but if you are shopping online this color matching guide can help you pick your right shade. But as I've mentioned before the shades tends to run more on a deeper side so try to keep that in mind.

(sorry this is not the best Swatches tho but hey it still works lol)

I own a lot of brushes. I figured I could use what I have at home. But to test it out properly I tried the dedicated brush for this serum foundation and i'm not exactly a fan of this brush in particular. The brush is meant to be used to buff the color on but I feel like it over applied the product. Plus its so tiny I feel like it would take me forever to finish my whole face. But then again i do have a big face haha. (Just kidding).

Overall I feel like this foundation is really great for someone that loves a good dewy look. Plus it has great skin benefits which is always a plus on my book. So I give this foundation a thumbs up.
