THE VANITY CORNER

A Beauty Bloggers DREAM room to have. If your working with e a full a small house space to begin with then you might not be able to have a full beauty room to yourself! But that doesn't mean you cant have a Vanity corner in your own bedroom! 


I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who has an issue with limited space. Living in NYC for so long still hasn't made me get costumed to living in a jam packed place. So of-course I had to find some ways to make my life functional. Specially being a fashion & a beauty blogger I just knew I had to do something about this. I mean I cant stop going shopping now...can I? hahaha  


 I have found that having some key pieces in your bedroom like the New Nordli dresser from Ikea will save your life.  Also a good functional table with lots and lots of storage option is a big must haves in cases like this. A sleek looking work desk like the Malm table from IKEA or the Alex table can be your life savior. We all want a neat working area which is both functional and space savvy. 


If you can align your furniture's a little smart way you can easily make it seem like a full dresser area. For example- simply just by adding a sleek Alex drawer unit to one side And the Nordli dresser in the middle (instead of a desk since we need extra storage options) and the Silveran high cabinet with mirror on the other side and boom you've got yourself a full Vanity/Dressing area. Add some cute accessories like a cute chair, picture frames, and of-course your makeup displays and your done.


It also doesn't hurt to go a little vintage style. I love the pop of blue in the one. You can find very inexpensive table and chair sets from ebay or sometimes even at a local garage sale etc. Just sand them well with some sanding paper and and make sure to use a base coat and a paint sealer after you paint them with your favorite color. Also make sure your protect the chair seat well enough so the paint doest transfer (if the seat comes off then it will make your life even more easier). Same goes for any knobs or drawer handles etc.You can also spice up the seat by using some fun bright printed fabrics on them to give it more life.


A floor mirror is another must haves. As we all know mirrors makes any room look much much bigger then they actually are. Also floor mirror makes great ootd selfies! hahaha


Ahh the infamous Mirrored furniture's! As great as they are but they are extremely expensive! Although I love the look of them but ehh I think the Ikea ones will do for me for now! Well talk mirrored dressers when I'm filthy rich hahahaa.

 And last but not least, the epic Beauty room.. I love the black and white combination in this room. Although I would personally add some pops of color for more inspirations. 
Have fun, don't take everything too seriously. Do more of what you love and make your bedroom a reflection of who you are.
