The Black Maxi Skirt

Today I wanted to talk about a classic long maxi skirt. Super easy to dress up and down both.

Pair your favorite crop tops with your maxi skirts. This is the foolproof way to rock a maxi skirt without worrying about the skirt and the top swallowing you.

If your not a big fan showing off your midsection or/are conscious about it then wear a crop tops that hits right where your belly button is. (Not too short and Not too long) This way it only (might) shows just a tiny tiny amount of skin instead of your whole mid section. Also pull your skirt right where your belly button is instead of wearing it a bit low.

Rock a maxi skirt with a long slit but keep in mind you want to look sexy and fashionable and not tasteless. Tuck in your top for a polished look instead of leaving it loose. And pair the outfit with a nice pair of heels. If the slit is too high I would recommend to wear it with some stockings. But if your bold enough then what the hek... why not right? haha just go for it ;)

This one is my absolute favorite kind of maxi skirts. Its sheer so it show a bit of skin though the fabric but not a whole lot. I love it. For a fall season these skirts can easily be paired with some booties and a cute chunky sweater tucked in and your all good to go.

Who ever said not to mix brown and black clearly didn't know what they were talking about! I absolutely love this casual look. A simple chunky scarf and a white tank top tucked in to the maxi skirt along with that skinny belt. How cute right? I love this whole casual look for a day at the college or just to hangout with some friends.

And last but not least we have the Miley Cyrus's gorgeous black maxi skirt. Its like a mix between crochet and lace but not! hahaha Kinda difficult to explain the fabric type but its so so gorgeous.

Its also on the sheer side so it only show a little bit of the legs though the skirt. She paired it with a matching uber cropped top However pairing this skirt with a plain black tank top wouldnt look too bad either with a fedora and some sunnies to dress it down a bit.
